Free, open‑source tools for people who work with qubits.

Within Quantum is where I publish the quantum software I build. A notifier for IBM Quantum jobs, a gate explorer, and a jargon game. Each is free, open source, and quick to start.

Argand plane The two amplitudes of a single-qubit state, drawn as arrows from the origin of the complex plane. Re Im

|ψ⟩ = 1|0⟩ + 0|1⟩

α, amplitude of |0⟩
P = 1.000
β, amplitude of |1⟩
P = 0.000

|0⟩

Tap a gate to see how it moves the two amplitudes. This is a small taste of Qorq, which does it with drag and drop.

The tools

Qoffee

Know when your IBM Quantum job is done, without checking the queue.

Qoffee is a job monitoring and notification tool that runs as a GitHub Action in your own repository, on a schedule, under your own GitHub account. Tag a job when you submit it and Qoffee tells you when it finishes or fails. Your laptop can stay closed.

There’s no server in the middle. Your API token lives in your fork’s secrets, and job data never leaves your own storage.

Qorq

See what single-qubit gates do to a statevector.

Qorq is a drag-and-drop explorer for single-qubit gates. It draws the complex statevector as phasors from a shared origin on an Argand plane, so you can watch amplitudes rotate and trade length as you build a circuit.

Nothing to install, configure or script. Open it in a browser, drag gates, and the displays update as you go.

About

I build small tools for the parts of quantum computing that are slow, fiddly or hard to picture: waiting on job queues, building intuition for gates, learning the vocabulary.

Everything here is open source. If something breaks or you have an idea, open an issue on the tool’s repository. More tools will land here as they’re ready.
